.Nm apmconf
は、ラップトップ PC 上の APM (Advanced Power Management) BIOS ドライバ
.Xr apm 4
の設定のために使われます。

以下のオプションが利用可能です。
.Bl -tag -width indent
.It Fl e
パワー管理を有効にします。
.It Fl d
パワー管理を無効にします。

これらのオプションは、
.Xr apm 4
によって提供されるパワー管理機能を有効もしくは無効とします。

.It Fl h
カーネルのコンテクストスイッチルーチン内の HLT 命令を有効とします。

カーネルのコンテクストスイッチルーチン内の HLT 命令を無効とします。

これらのオプションは、ほとんど全ての APM の実装においては必要では
ありませんが、
.Dq Pa Idle CPU
呼び出しが CPU クロックの減速と HLT 命令を同時に実行する場合は、
そのピーク性能の減少からシステムをまもるために
.Fl t
オプションが必要です。
