* efitable: Fixup getopt args to reflect guid use.Gordon Tetlow2026-06-202-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | Correct the manpage to reflect the preference for GUID vs UUID. Take the long version of --guid for the -g option. Sort the argument list while we are touching it. * efidev: add support for memory attributeShengYi Hung2025-07-222-1/+51
| | | | | | | | | | | The EFI_PROPERTIES_TABLE has been deprecated in the UEFI specification. It is now replaced by the EFI_MEMORY_ATTRIBUTES_TABLE, which provides a new header and data format for describing memory region attributes. * manpages: prefer linking to xo_options.7 over xo_parse_args.3Alan Somers2025-07-161-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most libxo-enabled utilities link to xo_parse_args.3. But that man page doesn't actually describe how to format command-line arguments. Rather, xo_options.7 does. I suspect that these utilities link to the former because the latter man page did not exist until libxo-0.7.2 (8a6eceff3ce). And newer utilities have probably been copy/pasting the same text from older ones. But the superior man page does exist now, so we should link to it instead. * efi: Use EDK2 EFI_GUID instead of sturct uuidWarner Losh2025-05-011-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | So, while struct uuid and EFI_GUID are quite similar (they are the same size, they have the same binary representation, etc), they aren not identical. Speciifcally, the UUID and GUID defines are slightly different and can't be swapped one for the other. Start to use EFI_GUID for all EFI tables. This will allow increased sharing with the boot laoder that already uses EDK2 variants as well as using the possibility to use the EDK2 headers we've already imported more easily. * efitable: Don't assume EFI GUID are uuid_tWarner Losh2025-05-011-8/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | To share code better with EDK2, we need to align our interfaces with its definition of EFI_GUID. This structure is the same size as our uuid_t, but has different elements. The EFI standard uses a string notaiton that are compatible with the uuid_* routines, however. So we use those routies to parse, but need to b careful to cast as appropriate. Becuas the ABI is the same, this is safe, though perhaps suboptimal. These changes make efitable API neutral.
