.Sh DESCRIPTION

is used to load a

guest inside a

virtual machine.

is based on

and will present an interface identical to the

loader on the user's terminal.

The virtual machine is identified as
.Ar vmname
and will be created if it does not already exist.
.Sh OPTIONS
The following options are available:

is the amount of memory allocated below 4GB in the guest's physical address
space.

is 256MB.

is the amount of memory allocated above 4GB in the guest's physical address
space.

is 0MB.

is the pathname of the guest's boot disk image.

is the directory at the top of the guest's boot filesystem.

To create a virtual machine named
.Ar freebsd-vm
that boots off the ISO image
.Pa /freebsd/release.iso
and has 1GB memory allocated to it:

In the example above the 1GB allocation is split in two segments:
