* all: remove explicit versions in USES=python for "3.x+"Rene Ladan2023-06-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The logic in USES=python will automatically convert this to 3.8+ by itself. Adjust two ports that only had Python 3.7 mentioned but build fine on Python 3.8 too. finance/quickfix: mark BROKEN with PYTHON libtool: compile: c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I -I. -I.. -I../.. -I../C++ -DLIBICONV_PLUG -DPYTHON_MAJOR_VERSION=3 -Wno-unused-variable -Wno-maybe-uninitialized -O2 -pipe -DLIBICONV_PLUG -fstack-protector-strong -fno-strict-aliasing -DLIBICONV_PLUG -Wall -ansi -Wno-unused-command-line-argument -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Wno-overloaded-virtual -Wno-deprecated-declarations -Wno-deprecated -std=c++0x -MT _quickfix_la-QuickfixPython.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/_quickfix_la-QuickfixPython.Tpo -c QuickfixPython.cpp -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/_quickfix_la-QuickfixPython.o warning: unknown warning option '-Wno-maybe-uninitialized'; did you mean '-Wno-uninitialized'? * */*: Refactor java/openjdk7 removalMuhammad Moinur Rahman2023-04-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - java/openjdk7* has been removed from the tree since 2022-09-03 however the relevant codebases in bsd.java.mk has not been removed and the consumers has also not been updated to use the next jdk version. This commit updates all relevant consumers to use JAVA_VERSION=8 instead of JAVA_VERSION=1.7 - Since the introduction of jdk version 18 it looks like similar with jdk version 8(java version string 1.8). This is prone to error as it looks similar and is only seperated by a '.'. Remove using JAVA_VERSION with dotted fomat of java version string and update all consumers to utilize version 8 instead of 1.8. Approved by: portmgr (blanket)
* Remove WWW entries moved into port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on WWW: lines in pkg-descr files. This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these pkg-descr files. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
* Add WWW entries to port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)

* Multiple ports: improve regex compliance (part 2)Kyle Evans2020-07-241-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is again a part of the project to stop extraneous escaping of ordinary characters and redefine some ordinary escapes as special behavior. Most of these ports are pushed over to use textproc/gsed because they want to use GNU extensions. Others are fixed to either escape appropriately (e.g. $$ rather than \$ in Makefiles!) or just remove redundant escapes (e.g. backtick in single quotes doesn't need escaped). This version supports Python 2 and 3. Add test target. - textproc/py-sphinx: Update to 3.0.2 Python 3 only (3.5+). Add test target. - Mk/Uses/python.mk: Add PY_SPHINX Shared macro to use with flavors and not break ports with USES=python (all versions). Python >=3.5 --> textproc/py-sphinx (v3.0.2) Python < 3.5 --> textproc/py-sphinx18 (v1.8.5) All ports that uses sphinx were changed to use the new variable ${PY_SPHINX} in the dependency line, exceptions: * Ports that fails to build with sphinx 3.0.2 because of code. They are pointing to textproc/py-sphinx18 directly. There aren't many ports. * Ports that doesn't know Python flavors. - Add several patches to fix Sphinx consumers The most common issues are related with pkg-plist, the output files from Sphinx changes between versions, keep this dynamically is the better approach. This will save time in future sphinx updates. PR: 245629 Exp-run by: antoine Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=534966
* New port: databases/cassandra4: Highly scalable distributed databaseKurt Jaeger2020-05-0219-0/+1005
Apache Cassandra is a free and open-source distributed database. It is a Java-based, highly scalable, eventually consistent, wide column store. Cassandra database clusters are masterless with no single point of failure. Replication can be configured across multiple data centers. Originally influenced by Dynamo and BigTable, Cassandra was initially developed at and open sourced by Facebook before becoming a top-level Apache project. The CQL query language offers SQL-like data access and management. Drivers are available for a number of languages. This is an ALPHA version! It is not intended for production use.
