* Add WWW entries to port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)

* x11-fonts/encodings: run mkfontscale to fix encodings.dir post-installKurt Jaeger2018-01-121-3/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Since only *.enc.gz files are installed while the encodings.dir file is genareted for directories containing both *.enc and *.enc.gz files, the installed encodings.dir file includes bogus entries for *.enc. - It causes libfontenc to fail to find encoding files, then X to fail to open TrueType fonts with some encodings such as ascii-0 or jisx0208.1990-0. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Xorg is now looking in ${LOCALBASE}/share/fonts by default Xorg now accepts symlinks in etc/X11/fontpath.d (as decribed in Xserver(1)) Large cleanup on lots of font ports All fonts are now properly dynamically generating fonts.dir and fonts.scale instead of sometime overwriting existing ones) All fonts are generating fontconfig's cache Improve consistency in fonts ports Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=381876
* Rework XORG_CAT= fontBaptiste Daroussin2015-03-201-3/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | Fonts are now generating the fonts.scale and fonts.dir at install time font-alias is not needed anymore for the above reason extract font-util and encodings out of XORG_CAT=fonts because they do not install any fonts make XORG_CAT=fonts use USES=fonts Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=381702
